kLcC ~ taLLeSt TwiN tOWEr iN tHe WoRLD!!!

Some info about the picture...
  • Built in 1992-1998
  • Petronas Twin Towers was the tallest building in the world from 1998 to 2004
  • Consist of two tower that stand side by side with a bridge at the 44 level.
  • Still holds the record for the tallest twin buildings in the world
  • The towers and the mall below it was designed by Argentinian born architect Cesar Pelli.
  • 88-stories towers were build using mostly reinforced concrete, with steel and glass facade to resemble Islamic motifs, a religion followed by the majority of Malaysia

Quite amazing right?? From a drawing, then rebirth into reality!!

This tower not only just a tower but consist many facilities that needed by the visitors. Among of them  are:
  • Hotel
  • Parking Area
  • Public Park
  • Toilet of course!!
  • Food court ( in the Suria KLCC)
  • Shopping Mall
  • and most important, office lah!!
Want to come here?? No problem maa!! In Malaysia, there are to many public transport that can be use to go to this unique place. Don't believe me?? Try it for urself lah!! But remember, only choose public transport that can really send u at the main entrance ( plane, helicopter & private ship cannot lah) and most important, choose licensed public transport. "prebet sapu" also can but do not complain if anything happen to u. Ask the "prebet sapu" driver to take care of u lah. =)  

Excited?? want to go now?? Wow, marvellous!! A very good choices!! But wait!!!
How u want to go without a map?? Aiyoo... wait aa.. i give u a map...



See, very easy right?? As easy as ABC right?? hehe..
What?? still didn't get the direction?? Okay, one more method, go to taxi stand, ask them to send u to KLCC. For sure they know lah!! Simple right???

KL TOWER : A SYMBOL OF KUALA LUMPUR

How are you doing? We hope everything is going very well..For today, we would like to tell you about KL Tower.

Kuala Lumpur Tower formally called Menara Kuala Lumpur is an elevated tower in Kuala Lumpur. The tower was built in 1991-1995 and initially utilized for communication purposes. KL Tower was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia on 1 October 1996. It features an antenna. which soars up to 421 meters, making it the world's seventh tallest communication tower at present. 
For those want to see the panorama of Kuala Lumpur city from 276 metes above ground level, there is an observation deck in the tower with an audio tour available in 16 languages.

 



The Tower also acts as the Islamic Falak observatory to observe the crescent moon which marks the beginning of Muslim month of Ramadhan, Syawal and Zulhijjah, to celebrate fasting month of Ramadhan, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Aidiladha. 


At the height of 282 meters above ground level, there is a revolving restaurant named Seri Angkasa Revolving Restaurant which attract a lot of tourists to come and visit KL Tower. Let's see some pictures of the restaurant.

Oh wait!There's some interesting facts about KL Tower. Let's check it out!!!

  • Though the tower was constructed to improve the quality of telecommunication services and the clarity of broadcasting, it actually stands for the symbol of Kuala Lumpur.
  • The whole structure of the KL Tower is divided into 5 different parts, including the foundation base, the touristic building, the tower shaft, the tower head, and the tower head.
  • Its tower shaft consists of 22 levels with 4 elevators and flights of stairs, having 2,058 steps.
  • Its tower head has the public observation platform and revolving restaurant, together with the telecommunication & broadcasting stations.
  • Its antenna mast holds the tower and is particularly used for telecommunication and broadcasting transmissions.
  • Kuala Lumpur Tower is controlled by Menara Kuala Lumpur Sdn. Bhd., which is an entirely owned subsidiary of the Telekom Malaysia Group.
  • The KL Tower made the first pit-stop in the Amazing Race Asia 1.
  • The tower is distinctly known for housing the highest McDonalds in the world.

Here We Go Bukit Bintang!!!

The next stop!, guess where is the shopping heaven here in Kuala Lumpur?..
Of Course, Bukit Bintang will be the answer!!..


Here the next station is... where me and wanie could lost our control, it is not because our insanity but we have to refrain our self from buying things here in Bukit Bintang!.... Ggggrrr.. hahahaha. 

 So ladies and gentleman, i am sure everyone will knew about this place. This place is very popular here in Kuala Lumpur. Even a visitor or foreigner would not miss the opportunity to visit here. i can say that, Bukit Bintang or also known as StarHill is the place that locate shopping and entertainment to visitors. 

should i talk about shopping first??? .... ladies, be ready to hold your eagerness from come here!. 
---> In the area of Bukit Bintang, there are about 10 shopping malls just in the area of itself. i could say the popular one that offer best price here is Sungei Wang. inside the mall, its distinctive by a small shops, narrow walkaway and there  a lot events are held here. Beside Sungei Wang Plaza, BB plaza is located, the concept is just the same, and the prices are affordable. 

Tada..... see how cheaper the price right???
after we cross over the road and we went from another side to another, we went to Lot 10. its is not a buildingconsist of 10 lots, but one of the shopping malls in the area of Bukit Bintang. Beside of it, there are Farrenheit 88 or before the renovation of the building, it known as KL Plaza. okay, talked about this two shopping malls. they are quite different to previous shopping malls. these two shopping malls provide a bit expensive brands. for me?? SO EXPENSIVE lah.... hahaha no, i just exaggerate it. Lol... Lot 10 and Farrenheit 88 is consider still affordable for middle income workers but not a student like me. We went there, but just for a short window shopping. 

Anyway, i don't think that i have to described all 10 shopping malls in here, i will back again for the next enrty which is about Pavilion. Until Then,...

We are done with window shopping here in Bukit Bintang. Yeayyy!!! so, before i end my entry with a few of our pictures, there are few informations that i will provide to you, my beloved readers... ^___^ :

----> Bukit Bintang Located in the middle of the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur. it is not hard to find it. you can come by a car or also by Monorail which it stop at Bukit Bintang Station. if you come from KL Sentral Bus station, you only need about RM1.60 to come here. In the weekend, i would advice visitor to ride Monorail because the traffic congestion during the weekend is the worse one. 

A Simple Map for you.
All store located in Bukit Bintang usually open from 10 in the morning until 11 midnight.
however, above 12 midnight, the place is still full with visitors because of the clubs and also massage shops to relaxed their body and foot. The massage shops rate price usually from RM 30++ to RM 150++. 

visitor don't have to worry about pick pocket or other case at this area, there are safe since cops are all around in Bukit Bintang area.

But please Malaysian people, any place that you go has risk to take. What risk do I mean? here, there are many fraud cases, it just you need to be more careful with certain shop you go. Sometimes their product is not genuine, expensive and many things. it just you need to do a lot of research. My advise to you is please go to authorized dealer, the shop that have signboard of brand's name.

So guys if u wanna go there, Low Yat Plaza is opened everyday from 10 in the morning until 9.30 at night. My point of view is definitely worthy if u go there and you will simply not regret anything. Here some information and photos of Low Yat Plaza..

Do you know what is THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE OF KUALA LUMPUR? I bet most of us know what is it and where it is located. For those who already know about it, for sure you have feel the excitement of  the place right? But,,,,,,,for those who never been there, nevermind,we will share the excitement of this place to you.
First of all, let's start with a little introduction about The Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur.

The Golden Triangle is known to be the main shopping and entertaining district of Kuala Lumpur. The region is located to the northeast of the City Center, roughly covers the area north  of Jalan Pudu, south of Jalan Ampang and west of Jalan Imbi and Jalan Tun Razak. The Golden Triangle also embraces the busy shopping area of Bukit Bintang, the office towers of Jalan Raja Chulan, the five-star hotel strip of Jalan Sultan Ismail, the party street of Jalan P.Ramlee, and the whole Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC). It is the most happening place, which attract people day and night in Kuala Lumpur. Whether it's shopping, dining, world-class office or any other thing, the Golden Triangle is actually the place to find the excitement.
